Psychosocial safety is fundamental to creating psychological safety for diverse individuals in their workplaces. This webinar will explore how to mitigate workplace psychosocial hazards through equity, accessibility and inclusion approaches based on the pillars of the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. This dynamic learning will prepare participants to increase their knowledge in creating and assessing safer and more inclusive workplace cultures and practices.  

Learning objectives: 

  • Understand the difference between mental health, psychological safety and psychosocial safety  
  • Apply an intersectional and holistic lens to assess psychosocial hazards in the workplace and mitigate these with equity and inclusion tools.  
  • Gain knowledge to help you advocate or develop psychosocial safety initiatives in the workplace   
  • Foster skills and tools to help you apply psychosocial safety mechanisms and prioritize psychological safety from policies to everyday practices.   

Audience/Level: This is an intermediate to advanced level webinar for individuals who want to learn more about psychological safety and psychosocial safety and health in the workplace.
