CCDI Community of Practice events are highly interactive sessions designed to foster an intimate environment in which participants feel secure to learn and explore a specific topic related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). These two and a half to three hours events are delivered virtually and in-person in select cities across Canada.

No matter your level of experience with diversity, equity and inclusion, human rights, or human resources, our Community of Practice events will provide you with a unique learning experience.

CCDI Community of Practice events are held twice a year in the spring from May to June and in the fall from October to November. The topics for the spring and fall series will vary. Past topics have included:

  • Operationalizing DEI: Identifying challenges and finding a way forward
  • Circle for reconciliation
  • Depolarizing the workplace: Practical tools for compassionate communication
  • Activating a culture of belonging: Allyship, inclusive coaching, and intercultural communication
  • Microaggressions and microinterventions: The macro of the micro

More information about the topics and the cities where in-person events will take place will be made available in March and August. Registration for these events will typically open around late March for spring sessions and late August for fall sessions. Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on our events and when to register.
